You’ve probably heard it more than once in the news how a completely normal person has committed a crime that no one had ever thought they were capable of. Being a psychopath does not mean being different from others. Psychopaths are the type of person that most people would describe as pleasant, really charismatic and even a good person. This is at least what it looks like.
This kindness can suddenly disappear because a psychopath does not feel emotions as you do. So they falsify them to better manipulate you.
A psychopath will manipulate others to get everything they want. They cannot feel remorse, sorrow or other natural emotions, they are only able to exploit others without restraint. That is why it is so important to learn to spot them.
1. Psychopaths are pathological liars
Everybody lies. But when a psychopath lies, it is not a little white lie or a lie that can be justified. A psychopath will tell one lie after another.
A psychopath constantly lies to manipulate and exploit the people around them. Sometimes they will also lie with a definite goal of causing harm.
Although psychopaths have goals like everyone else, they do not try to achieve them in a “good way.”
2. Psychopaths are irresponsible
Can you imagine what it would be like not to have any emotional ties to anyone or anything? Psychopaths do not feel obligated to keep their promises at work or at home, so they end up never doing anything they say as they want to.
Usually , a psychopath will constantly change jobs or move to a new place for this reason. They never feel attached to a place, not even a house.
This also applies to people, as they constantly end friendships, hurt and abandon those who once trusted them.
3. Psychopaths entice you with false charm
Psychopaths put their best face on in front of other people, hiding their true intentions. In fact, they have no confidence in anyone but themselves.
But on the other hand, they give the impression of someone you can trust and tell all your secrets to.
What you do not know is that this openness is like falling directly into the mouth of the beast. The more you trust them, the more vulnerable you are. Their false charm lures you in.
4. Psychopaths often have a troubled past
Right now, the psychopath may seem completely normal, but if you look into their past, you can find a really revealing story.
Even if they were involved in small quarrels, then the fact is that they were often involved in them and that it is worth taking a closer look at their past.
This is because, even though it may not seem so, they do not accept the rules of society and often have no respect for human rights.
5. Psychopaths manipulate and are dependent on others
Psychopaths manipulate others to meet their own needs. However, they know that not all people can be manipulated, so they often surround themselves with people who are more submissive.
For a psychopath, a person is not a human being but an object for them to exploit so that they can get what they want.
Most importantly, a psychopath will always try to make a living from others. They believe that others exist only to serve them, that others are the ones who have to work and struggle to make ends meet.
6. Psychopaths are not empathetic
They cannot feel any emotions such as sadness, anxiety or anything else as they are unable to put themselves in another person’s place.
They may seem to understand because it’s part of their false charisma they use to gain your trust. But in reality , they have no idea how you feel.
This gives them an advantage over you. They never feel shame, guilt or any emotion that would prevent normal people from doing what they do.
Nor can they be upset on behalf of others: a psychopath will always think only of himself.
It is important to keep in mind that the percentage of psychopaths in the general population is not very high, so very rarely do we end up encountering them.
Despite this fact, it is never a good day when you come across one of them. It is so important to notice the signs.
Have you ever known anyone with these traits?
