Turkey and apple salad with nuts

Turkey and apple salad is just one of many delicious recipes with nuts that you can easily make

Ingredients (for 2 or 3 people)

  • 1 bag spinach (500 g)
  • 2 red apples
  • 150 g of mixed nuts
  • 50 g of cheese
  • 150 g turkey sausage
  • Spices: Sweet mustard, black pepper, salt, olive oil.

Course of action

  • Wash and dry the spinach thoroughly. Then put it in a salad bowl and set it aside.
  • Cut the apples into julienne (thin strips) without removing the peel.
  • In a separate bowl, prepare dressing of sweet mustard, olive oil, salt and black pepper. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly with a spoon and set it aside.
  • Cut the turkey sausage into small cubes and sprinkle them over the spinach.
  • Then cut the goat cheese into thin slices and add it to the spinach.
  • Pour the dressing over the spinach and stir so that all the ingredients are mixed. Enjoy!

Couscous with nuts and red onion

Ingredients (for 2 or 3 people)

  • Olive oil
  • ½ red onion
  • Sea salt
  • 200 g couscous
  • 1 small squash
  • 2 tablespoons raisins (30 g)
  • 1 red and 1 green pepper
  • 400 ml vegetable or chicken broth
  • A mixture of nuts: Almonds, peanuts, pistachios, hazelnuts
  • Optional: Three peppers, curry, dates, dried peaches, sesame seeds


  • Pour the broth into a saucepan and heat it over medium heat.
  • When it starts to boil, add the couscous and a tablespoon of olive oil. Stir slowly a few times and let it rest until the couscous begins to absorb the broth. Remember that the ideal amount of broth should always be two parts broth for each part couscous.
  • When ready, turn off the heat and allow the couscous to cool until it reaches room temperature.
  • Meanwhile, wash and peel the squash. Then cut it into small cubes. Do the same with onions and peppers.
  • Heat a pan over high heat, add a little olive oil and then pour all the vegetable stars on the pan to sauté them.
  • Once the onion is browned, sprinkle the nuts and a little bit of sea salt over all the vegetables. Set the burner to low heat after approx. two to three minutes. Let everything fry in its own juice for a minute or two, and turn off the heat.
  • Put the couscous in a glass bowl and add the mixture of nuts and vegetables. Then use a spoon to mix all the ingredients well.
  • Finally, spread the raisins over the dish and serve.

Make a delicious salad of squash and nuts

Ingredients (for 2 people)

  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • 3 squash
  • 250 g parmesan cheese
  • 150 g almond flakes
  • Spices: Salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper

Course of action

  • Peel and wash the squashes. Then continue to cut them into slices.
  • Cut the parmesan cheese into slices (you can also grill it).
  • In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice with the spices.
  • Put the squash slices in a salad bowl and place a piece of parmesan cheese and a small amount of almond flakes on top of each.
  • Finally, pour lemon juice and spices over it. Serve immediately.
